Manchester, Massachusetts · Est. 2000 · Founded by Dana Silva & Michael Doyle (now led by Jonathan Silva & Kerry Addis)
Dana Silva and Michael Doyle each spent over 20 years at Parker Brothers and Milton Bradley before founding WS Game Company in 2000 -- two industry veterans who knew the world's most beloved games better than almost anyone, and believed they deserved a more beautiful version. As an authorized Hasbro licensee, WS Game Company makes premium, design-forward editions of Scrabble, Monopoly, Clue, Chess, and more -- linen-covered, velvet-lined, and built to live on a shelf as much as a table. Today Dana's son Jonathan and co-owner Kerry Addis lead the company into its next chapter.
Dana Silva and Michael Doyle grew up professionally inside the golden age of American tabletop gaming -- a combined 40-plus years at Parker Brothers, Milton Bradley, and Hasbro, working on the games that defined family life for generations. In 2000 they stepped out on their own, founding WS Game Company with a conviction that the world's most beloved games deserved a more elevated version of themselves.
They started as Hasbro consultants, then became licensed furniture designers -- building Scrabble and Monopoly into coffee tables and pub tables, putting the game literally into the furniture. Then, in 2010, they transitioned to what they'd always been building toward: premium tabletop editions of the classic games they'd spent their careers on. Velvet-lined boxes. Linen-covered bookshelf editions. Weighted pieces. Premium materials throughout. The same games everyone grew up with, made into objects worth passing down.
Today the company is led by Dana's son Jonathan Silva and co-owner Kerry Addis, who came up through the family business and have carried the quality standard into a new generation. Exclusive collaborations with Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Anthropologie, LL Bean, and KITH. Commissioned by Hasbro to create the official Monopoly set commemorating Hasbro's 100th anniversary.
On a registry, a WS Game Company edition is the game that lives on the shelf and comes out for every holiday, every visit, every rainy Sunday -- a gift that becomes a ritual.
